An Ant on The Move...

I was sitting on the floor, counting the people in my life who should be blamed for all my failures. Starting from my parent's possessive nature due to which they do not allow me to take risks and enjoy adventurous moments. They strictly limited my career options. Then comes my siblings. There have been no moment in my life when they were not teasing me. Afterwards, there were ’FRIENDS’ who may be out of jealousy or maybe hatred, always distracted me and the list goes on…

As I was rolling my eyes arbitrarily, a tiny ant caught my attention. She was pulling a cockroach's leg so overwhelmingly that I was compelled to stop my “self-reporting’’ of grievances. I hurried to capture the scene with my phone camera. What amused me the most was the fact that the ant that is almost thrice smaller then the leg was pulling it without any support, and perhaps, ‘without finding people to throw blames’, yeah that was the next thought!

Slowly and gradually, she kept pulling her feast towards the anthills(Ant’s house) until she reached there!

While I was still sitting on the floor, counting people in my life to blame, a tiny ant in demonstrated a significant  lesson to me, complain less, work more and you’ll find your way towards success.

Perhaps, it is rightly said

“An ant on the move does more than a dozing ox. ” —Lao Tzu

I learnt my lesson, stood up to plan my day.

A tiny ant showed me a great lesson!
